The Free Presbyterian School will accept private candidates. It is a CCEA centre and is currently applying to be an  Edexcel centre for IGCSEs. *Update - AFTER REVIEW THIS CENTRE HAS DECIDED NOT TO ACCEPT EXTERNAL CANDIDATES ANY MORE*


Education Authority Exam Centre Westcourt Centre, 30 Barrack St, Belfast,T12 4AJ. Plans to offer CCEA, Pearson, AQA but not CIE. The opening has been held up by the Covid 19 situation, its unclear when it may become functional. No real support was offered during the 2020 and 2021 exam cancellations. We are promised ‘guidance’ on the subject in September 2021.

We are told that Tutors and Exams hope to open in Belfast in 2021

Conway Education Centre closed as an exam centre - keep an eye on their website as they lobby for one to be set up.


Kilskeery Independent Christian School will accept private candidates. A CCEA, Cambridge and OCR exam centre. It has not been offering OCR during 2020, 2021. It charges an administration fee on top of the exam entrance fee. Contact the Head Teacher

Apply end of January/ Early February for June exams, they are willing to discuss access arrangements and seem open to the idea as long as they can comply with all requirements, they have worked with one private candidate to gather evidence for a grade (CIE) during Covid-related cancellations.


Holy Trinity College, Cookstown will accept private candidates. CCEA exam centre.
